A career in welding can help open doors in a variety of different industries and geographic areas throughout the country. At STVT, our Combination Welding classes (CW) are designed to help prepare students for today’s welding jobs.

We recognize the importance of both learning and doing. That’s why our programs focus on traditional classroom learning taught by industry-experienced instructors, which is then reinforced with hands-on experience in our simulation labs. As a student in one of our welding courses in Texas, students have the opportunity to learn welding skills such as shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, and flux core arc welding—all of which play a vital role in construction and maintenance efforts across the country.
